This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 AM–10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Playa Bowls at (239) 887-4931; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is playabowls.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Love this place and the fresh ingredients. Two things I have to note, I don't like vital protein powder as it is high in glyphosate and fillers. I do wish your would swap this out for something cleaner. Second, the smoothies are only blended half way, there are big chunks of frozen fruit at the bottom which you can't suck through a straw. I really love this place just wish these things were better. πŸ˜‹

This has been my go-to aΓ§aΓ spot in the area, and I’ve generally had positive experiences, which is why today’s visit was so disappointing. The bowls were okay, but not up to the quality I’ve come to expect. The strawberries and blueberries were noticeably sour, and the preparation area was messy, with granola scattered across the counter and stains from the pitaya base, which didn’t leave a great impression. What stood out the most, however, was the customer service. When I walked in on Saturday, June 27, around 1:00p there was no greeting or acknowledgment from the employees. When my husband picked up our order, he politely said, β€œThank you so much,” but the employee didn’t respond or even look up. It was especially noticeable that the employees seemed disengaged with us, yet moments later, when a young man walked in, they were suddenly smiling, laughing, and much more welcoming. Every customer deserves the same level of courtesy and respect. The food is what has kept me coming back, but customer service is just as important. I hope the owner takes the time to coach the staff on professionalism, cleanliness, and treating every customer with the same friendly attitude. A simpl

The bowls and coffee were outstanding, and the girls working were nice. We came in with our 2 kids though, and there was profanity laden music blaring almost the entire time. On one of the more egregious songs, one of the workers noticed and changed the song. Get a new playlist that’s not R rated.

My husband walked in to get our food. He said it smelled so fresh in there he was amazed. And the bowls were absolutely fresh and light. Its not an intense sweet taste, it's natural which we really liked. And the bowls are a decently big size which surprised me. Definitely want to go back!
